Special Guest

In the last week of March, we had an exciting guest in the studio. Oli came into Threesixty for a week of work experience whilst he is studying his A Levels. During the week, we encouraged Oli to get stuck in, creating a range of mood boards with the design team and producing food packaging assessments through the lens of a 17 year old. On his last day, Oli wrote a short summary of his experience at Threesixty which you can read below, as well as some of the work he did over the week.

We loved having Oli in the office and we really hope it helped him gain a strong idea of what working in an agency feels like. If you are looking to do some work experience, please feel free to contact us.

A reflection of my week at Threesixty by Oli

What did you learn?

I found it really interesting working in such an unfamiliar environment. The office atmosphere offered an inclusive and cooperative relationship which made it really easy to settle in and become a part of the team. As a result of this, I was able to fully experience a week in the life of a design team which taught me a lot about the variety of tasks and objectives that the business has to focus on.

What surprised you the most?

How much work goes on behind the scenes. My idea of a design company beforehand, came across as fully design oriented, but working as a part of the team introduced me to the plethora of other important factors that contribute to the business such as client relations and cultural events. The importance of these aspects showed to me that there are so many different roles and responsibilities within the market.

What did you enjoy the most?

The most enjoyable part of the experience was adapting to the atmosphere of the environment whilst also being encouraged to contribute and input my own creative ideas. I always felt like my voice was heard and appreciated which really helped me to warm up to the team and feel comfortable to share my thoughts.
